AdSense for Search Results on Your Site

For most, Adsense search has usually not performed well to generate revenue. While I still don't think most will generate revenues from others searching google from their site, Adsense has finally made an update that may make it a bit easier. In the past the search results were provided on a google page. Now a publisher can integrate the search results framed within your site. Shrug - what took so long?

AdSense for search results on your site

Quote:

Publishers using AdSense for search now have the option to open search results within their own websites. By adding an additional set of search results code to your page, you can display Google search results framed within your own site.
If you have Adsense for search running on your site, you'll want to implement this most likely.

Nice find! That is indeed good news and I'll definitely give that a test tun. :yippee:

Thanks Logan - It is an obvious idea, and google are generally good at enabling everything else embedded on site. I've been reluctant to show google search on many pages, just because anyone using it leaves! But this is better.
Actual click rates from searchers have always been good, though.;)

The Future of AdSense

Hi to all,
I have not really used AdSense yet but what about the EBook by Scott Boulch who argued that since the day Google allowed Adwords advertisers to choose to pay a different rate for ads in search results pages vs those appearing in content pages (as AdSense), the AdSense game has changed?!

I have not really checked yet, but why are there so few sites with Yahoo's publisher program?

google new search

Logan - my 'results' are better since I tried the new google search script. One thing that probably helps is making the on-site page look good with google's results.
