Twitter Or Tumblr - Which Is Good?

I am using twitter shape most recent one year. It has great movement hotspot for my blog. Be that as it may, as of late I hear Tumblr is one of the best interpersonal interaction websites to direct people to blog and to get fantastic backlinks.

Anybody tried both destinations?

Which side regards direct people to blog?

Twitter and Tumblr both are great for content marketing.
I preferred twitter than tumblr.
Though if you are posting trendy articles and updates on tumblr, it can give you lots of traffics. All depends on your popularity on the site.

I would choose Tumblr.

It is hard to get the message across in 140 characters and any comments in twitter soon get lost, buried and forgotten about in a mountain of other comments.

Both are good. But twitter is more popular than tumblr and you can get daily traffic with the tweets.

twitter is always a good option for any business but tumblr is also a good platform i also use both the platforms for my business trip tap toe and both of these channels work for me

Both Are Good I used both to drive a ton of traffic to my old site.

Tumblr - I used to post images to build my brand and get people used to me then i'd drop a pic with a link and it would drive people to my site or video.

Twitter - Awesome but dont post links right away or ask for people to go to your site. Play it long term and show your personality, build an audience and authority then start dropping links and people will click on them! :)

Both are good in their own way. I prefer Tumblr to drive better traffic to the blog.

Yes, I have used both the domains for promotion. But compared to Tumblr, Twitter is far better. Till now I never got any traffic from Tumblr, but Twitter does help to generate traffic.

Both are good to drive a huge traffic on the website. Tumblr - Used to post images to build a brand your business. I'd drop an image with a link and it would drive people to website or video. Twitter - Awesome but don't post links right away or ask for people to go to your site. Play it long term and show your personality, build an audience and authority then start dropping links and people will click on them. Twitter is a very professional social networking platform.

Hi,

I think both are good. It's based on your products and services marking in online.

Brooke.Harper 23rd September 2017 03:03 PM

Twitter is more popular than Tumblr though, but it's a bit difficult to send your message with limited characters that you can use. By the end of the day, it would still depend on how many people you are reaching using these two. Either way, they are both easy to manage, that's why I'd go for both.

hicartagena 25th September 2017 12:53 AM

Twitter and Tumblr both are best place to promote your content, but Twitter is better than Tumblr.

Re:

Ever thought about just using both for your content marketing efforts? You can try both platforms for a couple of months and see where you're getting a more responsive audience. I suggest that instead of choosing which one to use, spend your time researching on content marketing tips and tricks for Twitter and Tumblr. That should give you a good start.

It would better if we use both of them to establish your brand. Twitter for the fast pace interaction with the users while Tumblr providing relationship with other related content and as a network booster for your service or product.

They each offer some advantages and disadvantages. However, their essentials are pretty similar once you dig deep. They are both blogging platforms. In short, Twitter is technically a micro blog, and Tumblr is one of the best, if not the best photo blogging platform out there. Blogging is a community activity. It is an act of putting your words out into the world and telling others to come check them out –sharing your thoughts, opinions, and vision with the world. Without that sense of community the blog is not living up to its purpose.
Both Twitter and Tumblr are very similar in a lot of ways.

It depends on what niche you're in. I get better visits from twitter as compared to tumblr. It's easier to get noticed in twitter than in tumblr especially with the hashtags. Also, there are millions, maybe billions, of twitter users that are basically there at real time. It's also easier to retweet. So your tweet can get a retweet if it's interesting enough.

Annabelle1 31st January 2018 08:28 AM

It depends, both are valuable and important to your online presence why not use both if necessary.
