Hi folks - novice Dave here....

After learning all the usual stuff, I finally created my first Sales Page - it looked great to me, and was in the house style of Yanik Silver et al.

Then I found Maria Veloso - bought her $20 book, and she showed me that my site should look like an editorial since folks are looking information not a screaming Ad....

Check out Maria's style by searching for her webcopywritinguniversity site -- it encapsulates all she teaches in her book.

By the way, it is focussed on folks selling the one product per web site model, but I am sure her techniques could be applied to other types of site
