I currently have an ideal type of magazine that I would like to have launched in a couple yeras, but first I have to learn the technical nitty gritty.

Does anyone know of any software for designing magazines? Or websites that would jumpstart the creation of one? Thank you in advance.

Thanks, I'll definitely keep that in mind, but I was thinking more in terms of actual softwares, such as qarkxpress and pagemaker.
I'm trying to find out what sort of software do big name magazines ie, oprah, YM use, but to no success.
