I think, the https has only one type. And it gives more benefit to your websites. Whether you are running a e-commerce site or any other commercial sites, the user won't trust your website until your site shows secured symbol. This is why most of the ecommerce websites like amazon, flipkart used HTTPS for security reasons.

IS SSL Certificate GOOD FOR SEO:

Of course, the ssl certificate is for seo. Google will love your site more when your site is security protection.

Unfortunately, HTTPS certification has nothing to do with SEO but only for the security of the websites for their users.

Hi,

My opinion is SSL certificate(HTTPS) create the trust for website user and search engines. Government website and Big brand website have SSL certified(https) to be create the trust for their user.

Eg: Twitter, Facebook, Amazon ect...

The advantage of Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is that it provides a secure connection to users on the pages where they share personal data with you. But, when a user shares precious info, like credit card details, HTTPS adds extra layers of protection. SSL certificate(HTTPS) create the trust for website user and search engines, it also useful SEO point of view. You’ll need to install a Secure Socket Layer certificate (the protocol that HTTPS uses) to ensure that data between your web server and browser remains private and secure.

SSL certifications does not effect on SEO its only for security. SSL create trust for user during payment.
