I enjoyed the article and wanted to add my own two cents to writing good copy. The best advice I've gotten is to make a list of 100 subjects for my product and choose the best one for my headline. Then, using the help of friends and family, choose ten more of the best and use those as subheadlines. I've found that using this technique helps create believable copy and makes the job of writing it so easy. Each time I do this, the copy seems to write itself.

I agree, this is a good article. It also supports why case studies often make a very effective advertising tool: by highlighting real people who were helped by a product or service, and showing measurably how much they benefited, people are much more willing to identify.

Thanks for sharing this...

I try this same technique myself... I'm not sure if the copy writes itself but it helps you explore all possible connections to your product... this helps make it unique, like a new approach no one else has thought about yet - in copy, that is key

Excellent article Linda. Gives me food for thought for when I write articles. I especially believe that testimonials about you, and/or your product cannot be underestimated!
