I was wondering if anyone had any experience with either Netsuite or Finsock as web based small business applications? My understanding is that these (web based) applications or leading edge, however perfect for someone like me who is not to IT savy...or the deepest pockets?

NickR,
NetSuite, I've heard, has a good package, but can be expensive and may not be user friendly.
Actually, I just moved back to MN, starting my own company and my brother in law told me a company he works for uses a version of finsock and has been for a couple of years. Apparently, there are other companies that are using it and I guess, they feel they're ready to release it nation wide.
I would suggest checking into these clients. It's sounds valid, but this is all I've heard. I am interested in this whole web software push. I hope this helped...

Hi,
If you are for looking products to help manage your contacts and customer information, NetSuite is a very expensive way to go.
Good Luck

If you are looking for small business management software, with contact management, a full accounting program (including payroll), sales order entry, sales quotes, forecasting/modeling, etc., check out A-Systems Visual Bookkeeper (at A-Systems website, it's .net, not .com). The software is PC based, runs from your laptop or PC, and is scalable. If you grow, you can grow into a version used by companies doing hundreds of millions in revenue. There is also a version for contractors. Price? $79.95. We provide this software through many national organizations, including the US Small Business Administration.
Thanks,
Arnold
