want to start a bussiness selling used cloths what would this be called in the bussiness world

Great to hear you are starting a new venture!
I am not quite sure of your bussiness description?
Are you planning for used cloths or used clothes?
I always wish forums would have a spell check!
I probabley hold the title for Typos.
If it is the latter clothes are you selling other peoples used clothes for them for a commission? This would be callec consignment.
Are you selling older clothes?This would be Vintage,
Are you doing sometrhing storefont or on line?
If it is cloths, who would be the target for your customer base?
Would you be able to post a little more info. on your plans?

If you are looking to find the business name of cloths, that would be textiles. You may want to try to do some searches on "used textiles" and see what pops up.

If you are referring to used clothing, well there are a lot of names, like Tanna stated. It would totally depend on how you would want to display and market them.

Hi Roggy- I do sell used clothes online- although I prefer the term preloved! I sell ladies dresses and have successfully utilised some of the phrases suggested in the earlier reply. My dresses are split into 3 categories on the website; Posh Frocks (party dresses etc), Everyday Glam (everyday/casual dresses) and Vintage Chic where I list all my vintage inspired dresses- there's such a huge interest in vintage right now, this is definitely the way to go if indeed it is clothes you are selling! Pre-loved is so the way to go- after all, don't we all already have too much.....
