View Full Version : Very Strange Google Index Error

Submitted a customer's site for Google indexing. Waited to see how we did in our optimization. 8 weeks went by.
Did a search on the customer's url.

:argh:Google somehow indexed server pages. What I mean is, if I enter the customer's url, the title in the SER page says "Plesk 8.0" and the pages point to the .php server summary file. Huh?

I've done a lot of sites and work in the seo field and understand robots.txt, etc. etc. So, any suggestions? This is a weird one.

It's just a small static site but a big deal to the customer

That sounds to me like there's a configuration issue on the server. Unfortunately, I'm not an expert on Plesk, so I don't think I can help you further than that...
