I just discovered Linkedin.com when i was looking for an specific soft skills training exercise. It looked interesting but I want to know if anyone here uses it and what is your experience with it?

I'm using this website since a long time and it is very popular and reputed one for social networking. You can post your brief into this site and people of your interested will add you in their networks (called connections). It is really recommended to build more online relations and business network.

It's just a social networking tool.

I just became a member and I think it is a very good tool if you explore all the benefits it offer especial networking with different individuals and businesses.

I've never used it,but if you know others that are on the site, then sign up as well. It's just like any other networking opportunity so the more folks you know, the better because someone might be able to put you in a job.

LinkedIn can be a good link to have if you do everything that you're required to do in order to fill out your full profile.

I have not used it for my business yet but it did come in handy to connect with all my old co-workers after we all got laid off

It's gotta be the best social networking site for professionals. I enjoy the group discussions, the Q&A, etc.

I have an account but never really used it. How different it is compared to some other social networking sites for example facebook, which also have groups and discussion threads?
