I am a foreign trade star in a trading company,dealing in Chinese oil painting,van gogh painting,rattan products,bracelets,stone sculpture,mainstream scultpure,etc.
I am now a little puzzled by my job, everyday I surf on line and try to find customers who may feel interested in our products, and I don't know how may emails I have sent ,but there were not any response at all,so I don't know what I may do.
Is the website the only way to do foreign business?
anyone interested?

Have you tried eBay or other auction sites?

An eBay Store is a cheap, easy and fast option for accessing the international marketplace. Check it out!

You may also want to try creating an ebook and distribute it for free.

Since time began people have actually tried visiting their customers, and this may be worthwile for high value products like yours. Van Gogh paintings? or prints?

You may need to make connections with local retailers and build a relationship with them. I wouldn't buy just from an email. I'd want to build up trust etc.
