Hi,

Our new company is looking for a private contractor to help us build websites for our customers. If you have DreamWeaver and know how to use it, that is a plus. FrontPage knowledge is also acceptable. Samples of your work are a definite plus. The ability to come up with content for a website is a plus. Tell us about your history or experience.

We are looking for a dependable private contractor with decent website building skills ( the ability to build basic to intermediate websites that look good ).

We are new in business and don’t have much to pay in the beginning, but if you help us now, we will reward those who help us in the beginning with first dibs at much larger opportunities in the future as they become available. We believe in being generous to those who help our whole organization succeed - thus those who help us succeed will also succeed themselves.

We are willing to pay per project :

$10.00 + 20% When the website is finished + 10% When the customer is satisfied ( within 10 days ). Plus when you complete 10 projects you will receive a $100 cash bonus !

So a total of $10 per project + a total of 30% per project + $100 after completion of 10 projects. Payments can be made to you weekly by check, paypal, or money order.

You will have access to ElanceOnline.com ( the ability to bid on 10 projects per month under out account - we are open to giving you a pay per click budget if you want to have a spin off site owned by our company. so marketing is paid for )

We provide hosting for our customers that you may use for website hosting - each customer receives his or her own account.

Credibility:

Do you have an auction account or letters of recommendation from former clients ? Describe them.

If you are interested please respond and we will discuss everything further.

I find the quality of Dreamweaver and Frontpage website to be questionable from a Search Engine Optimisation point of view. You might like to revise that criteria if you want credible contractors involved.

PacWeb,

You might want to look at designoutpost.com... like elance, they have the same bidding type deal w/templates, logos, etc. The talent is there... My experiences w/them have been quite good.

Best,
Valerie

I tend to agree with this. I do know people that use Dreamweaver or FrontPage as a tool but still hand code, which is fine. I think letting other programs create your code for you tend to lead to crap code especially FrontPage.

As far as this post, we develop websites, but we are no where even near your budget. I think paying what you are offering, you aren't going to receive real high quality as a whole unless you happen to hit a starving student or someone trying to build their portfolio.

To boot, I am a starving student and still woudn't accept a job that low-paying...might want to reconsider.

I don't mean to be a skeptic but that is an awful small amount of money. My rates are low because I work from home but that is too low.

When I was working in the film industry, I would choose two types of jobs; those that paid fairly or those good projects looking for volunteers. The ones inbetween aren't worth the hassle. If I am going to work for nothing, it should be on my terms. If I am getting paid fairly by a reputable company, I will do my best for the client.

And also you would be finding the work, doing the work, etc. I don't see the point of knowing you are doing the work for only 30% of what they are making.

I dont mean to be mean but you must be out of your mind if anyone would accept that offer. Also front page= worst decision for a website.

I would highly rethink about going into business without knowing what your getting into and having the proper financing in place to get it off the ground.

I know my comments might be mean, but someone here has to stop being polite and tell you how it is. Sometimes politeness is more harmful then it is helpful.

I do not wish you ill and hope your roads lead to success.

Uum, you might want to try India or Russia but even they charge more than that I think.

Actually, telling someone how it is in a polite way is our preferred approach. :)

For $10, all you are likely to get is a template website - the customers could fill in their own content. Even then, it'd have to be $10 for each customer if you want a quality template ...

I wouldn't touch Frontpage with a bargepole - metaphorical or otherwise - since it generates a very expensive mess to sort out if the site becomes large in the future. And the coding needs CSS and to be as future-proof as possible.

Good luck. :o

Hello i am very intrested in taking your offer up. i.e creating websites.

I am a sole designer starting out myself so to get on the ladder in web design in very important. I have been creating websites for myself for many years and i think you would be very intrested in my services. As i don´t use dreamweaver to create my website a use a program called HTML Kit i.e. same as Front page. Throughtout the years i have started at a lower level i.e. basic designs and content as time as progressed i have started building more detail design i.e use some flash and other software to make the design better.

To see some of my own work check out the following websites.

dozootraveldeals.wb.st
dozootraveldealsireland.wb.st
dozoonetwork.wb.st

I hope you contact me in the furture as i think i could help you and your custormers.

If intrested please email me

 Hi JJ, good to see you here! Glad to see Tech Students has so many participants.

Some of you may be familiar with getting student interns through local universities. Tech Students can be a faster and more agile alternative, because you only have to go to one place online, instead of contacting numerous college placement offices or going through lengthy intern procedures.

I have not personally used Tech Students' services, but I have considered it. I think it could be a very good source of outsourced help if you need extra help on a larger project, for instance.
