I thought this was a very thorough article by Philippa Gamse of Cyberspeaker.com. She talks about how to meet the customers emotional needs in your site content to get the sale and to keep them coming back.

"It's commonly understood that "people buy emotionally, not intellectually." Even when people think they're making a rational decision, powerful subconscious factors come into play. To sell effectively, we're told to anticipate our customers' needs, to demonstrate that we "feel their pain", and to respond to clues in their body language and tone of voice."

I have experienced the frustration on some sites she talks about and just left the site. On others they just seemed to flow, answering all my questions and making the purchase easy and enjoyable. What do you think about this article? Has it helped you develop any ideas that you think will make your site more "emotionally satisfying"?

 Great article. I tried to build my site with these same concepts. Hoping I succeeded. If you'd like to look it over and give me your critique, you can find it in my signature.
